Friday, April 29
12:25-1:10 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Alumnus Derek Douget plays saxophone and leads his own band.
1:30-2:20 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Germaine Bazzle’s band includes alumnus Paul Longstreth.
1:50-2:50 pm – Acura Stage. Adjunct faculty member Matt Perrine plays with Jon Cleary.
4:20-5:30 pm – Jazz & Heritage Stage. Irvin Mayfield and Leon “Kid Chocolate” Brown are among the Grammy-winning group, Los Hombres Calientes.
5:50-7:00 pm – Lagniappe Stage. Adjunct professor Brent Rose leads OTRA! along with fellow alumni Leon “Kid Chocolate” Brown, and Eduardo Tozatto.
6:00-7:00 pm – Jazz & Heritage Stage. The New Orleans Nightcrawlers include adjunct professors Brent Rose and Matt Perrine and alumnus Jason Mingledorf.
Saturday, April 30
11:00 am-3:00 pm : UNO alumna and music department manager Missy Bowen broadcasts live from the Jazzfest on WWOZ 90.7 FM and streamed worldwide at wwoz.org
11:20 am-12:05 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. The University of New Orleans Jazz All-Stars perform under the direction of current faculty member and graduate Brian Seeger, the Alvin “Red” Tyler Professor of Jazz Studies. UNO students include Oliver Bonie, Devon Kerrigan, Chris Adkins, Nick Solnick, Sam Albright, Megan Tingle, and Austin Johnson.
1:40-2:30 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. The Tenor Sax Woodshed features alumnus Christian Winther.
2:30 pm – Chouest Family Kids Tent. Student Claudia Baumgarten performs German music as Miss Claudia and Her Biergartners and gives a brief lecture on the historical contributions of German music to the culture of New Orlean..
2:50-3:40 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Alumnus Jeremy Davenport leads his band.
3:00-3:45 pm – Allison Miner Music Heritage Stage. Karen Celestan, a graduate of the MFA creative writing program, interviews Rance Allen.
3:55-4:55 pm – Blues Tent. Alumnus Matt Hampsey performs with Sunpie & the Louisiana Sunspots.
Sunday, May 1
11:10 am-12:00 pm – Acura Stage. Fredy Omar con su Banda includes alumnus Calvin Johnson.
11:15 am-12:00 pm – Blues Tent. Adjunct professor Matt Perrine plays sousaphone as a member of the the Washboard Chaz Blues Trio.
12:35-1:35 pm – Peoples Health Economy Hall Tent. Alumni David Bode and Bobby Skinner, the Theraminister of Swing, perform with New Leviathan Oriental Foxtrot Orchestra.
1:15-2:45 pm – Peoples Health Economy Hall Tent. Tommy Sancton’s New Orleans Legacy Band includes adjunct faculty member Jason Marsalis.
1:45-2:45 pm – Jazz & Heritage Stage. The Storyville Stompers Brass Band includes alumni Bruce Brackman and Ray Lambert.
2:00-3:10 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Professor Steve Masakowski, the Coca-Cola Endowed Chair in Jazz Studies, is a founding member of the legendary band, Astral Project.
2:10-3:10 pm –Sheraton New Orleans Fais Do-Do Stage. Alumnus Greg Hicks plays trombone with the Honey Island Swamp Band.
2:20-3:20 pm – Gentilly Stage. Current student Kathleen Moore sings with her uncle Deacon John and his Jump Blues Band.
3:05-3:55 pm – Peoples Health Economy Hall Tent. Adjunct professor and UNO graduate Brent Rose plays sax with Leroy Jones and New Orleans’ Finest.
3:10-4:15 pm – Acura Stage. Alumni Jason Mingledorff and Alonzo Bowens play with Dr. John and the Lower 911.
3:55-4:55 pm – Blues Tent. Glen David Andrews’ band features recent graduate Kyle Roussel on piano.

11:25-12:25 pm – Gentilly Stage. Current graduate student and ASCAP Scholar Chris Adkins plays guitar with Gal Holiday & the Honky Tonk Revue.
12:20-1:10 pm – Acura Stage. Alumni Greg Hicks and Omar Ramirez hold down the horn section with Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes and hope that they don’t get rained out yet again.
12:20-1:05 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Alumna Sasha Masakowksi leads her band, including current UNO music students James Westfall, Jasen Weaver, and Nick Solnick.
12:30-1:20 pm – Peoples Health Economy Hall Tent. Linnzi Zaorski’s band includes alumni Chris Cole and recent graduate Matt Johnson.
1:25-2:15 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Brice Winston, one of the first graduates of the UNO Jazz Studies Program, leads his own band.
3:00-3:45 pm – Allison Miner Music Heritage Stage. Professor Steve Masakowski, the Coca-Cola Endowed Chair in Jazz Studies, and alumna Sasha Masakowski will be interviewed by Tom Morgan.
4:10-5:10 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Adjunct faculty member Delfeayo Marsalis’ Uptown Orchestra features Assistant Professor Victor Atkins III, Danny Barker Endowed Professor in Jazz Studies on piano.
4:20-5:20 pm – Peoples Health Economy Hall Tent. Alumnus Mark Braud performs with his own band.
4:35-5:35 pm – Sheraton New Orleans Fais Do-Do Stage. Michelle Shocked’s band includes current student Neti Vaan on the fiddle.

3:55-5:10 pm – WWOZ Jazz Tent. Irvin Mayfield & the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra includes full- and part-time faculty members Irvin Mayfield, Victor Atkins III, and Ed Petersen, and Ashlin Parker, as well as alumni Derek Douget, Rex Gregory, Khari Lee, David Pulphus, Michael Watson, and current student Wess “Quad” Anderson IV.
4:35-5:35 pm – Peoples Health Economy Hall Tent. Alumnus Mark Braud performs with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
5:30-7:00 pm – Gentilly Stage. The Radiators’ farewell Jazzfest performance will include UNO graduate Greg Hicks as guest trombonist.
