Fine Arts Professor Gets High Marks For Exhibit

University of New Orleans fine arts professor Richard Johnson's new exhibit is lauded in a review from The Times-Picayune art critic Doug MacCash. MacCash rates "Beauty, Power and Circumstance" as wonderful, and picks it as the show not to miss Saturday night in New Orleans.

MacCash says the exhibit represents a sea change for Johnson. MacCash writes that "For the first time, the 68-year-old artist has forsaken abstraction for realism."

The exhibit, which runs through March 12, is showing at the Cole Pratt Gallery, 3800 Magazine Street. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To read the full review, visit
