UNO Football Hosts Miami (Ohio) in Battle for Conference Lead

(October 15, 2009, New Orleans, La.) - The University of New Orleans Club Football Team will host Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, October 17 at Tad Gormley Stadium and the winner will take the lead in the Midwestern Club Football Conference.

The Privateers defeated Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, 21-14, on October 10 to bring the season record to 3-1. Teh win was sweet revenge for the Privateers who were defeated last year by the Cougars at home in their return to to gridiron after a 38-year hiatus.

Tickets at the gate are $5 for UNO students and children 17 and under and $9 for adults.
