Get to Know UNO Open House is Saturday, October 17

(September 14, 2009, New Orleans, La.) - The University of New Orleans will hold Get to Know UNO, a special informative open house for prospective students and their families, on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program will be held in the Human Performance Center on the Lakefront Campus.

The event will showcase what makes UNO Louisiana's premiere urban university. Administrators, faculty, staff and students will be available to answer questions on such topics as admission requirements, academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, career development and campus organizations.

Get to Know UNO participants are welcome to join the UNO community that day at 7 p.m. at City Park's Tad Gormley Stadium where the UNO Privateers Club Football Team will take on the Miami University (Ohio) RedHawks.
