(June 22, 2009, New Orleans, La.) - The University of New Orleans will hold its annual open house for adults considering college on Wednesday, July 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Homer L. Hitt Alumni & Visitors Center on the Lakefront Campus.

Check-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. Informational sessions will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the following topics:

• Admissions and registration;
• Distance learning;
• Financing education expenses;
• Selecting a major;
• Adjusting to college life and student support services.

At 7 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to browse the displays and ask questions. UNO's academic colleges and departments will display information on their programs and faculty and staff will be available to answer questions.
