Parliament Member to Speak on Palestine on May 19

"A Lifeline from NOLA to Palestine" will be the title of a presentation by Parliament member George Galloway on Tuesday, May 19 at 7 p.m. in the University of New Orleans Performing Arts Recital Hall.

The talk, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the General Union of Palestine Students.

Galloway, who was first elected to Parliament from the city of Glasgow, Scotland, in 1987, has been elected five times to the House of Commons and is now among the senior members. He has been involved in the Palestinian cause since the 1970s.
