UNO to Offer Summer Math Workshop for Teachers

(May 14, 2009, New Orleans, La.) - The University of New Orleans, College of Education and Human Development will offer a mathematics methods workshop for fourth- through eighth-grade teachers July 6-17 on the Lakefront Campus.
Participants will learn to teach mathematics with a focus on algebraic thinking through a variety of approaches. Participating teachers will receive a stipend and math materials.
