UNO Planning Students to Present Plans for Walking, Cycling in City Park on May 5

(April 29, 2009, New Orleans, La.) - Giving Parks Back to People: Increasing the Walkability and Bikeability of New Orleans City Park is the theme of a program to be presented by University of New Orleans urban planning students on Tuesday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. at City Park's Timken Center (Casino Building).

Students in John Renne's Applied Transportation Planning class will present their proposals for improving biking and walking accessibility in the park.
